- Report violations: Use the report feature to flag behavior that breaches these guidelines
- Help maintain quality: Disconnect from chats that aren't working rather than staying in awkward or negative situations
- Be inclusive: Welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, and identities
Prohibited Activities
The following behaviors are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate bans:
Harassment & Abuse
- Threatening, intimidating, or bullying other users
- Using hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
- Stalking or persistent unwanted contact after disconnection
- Trolling or deliberately provoking negative reactions
Sexual Content
- Displaying nudity or engaging in sexual acts on camera
- Sharing pornographic material through screen sharing or links
- Making unwanted sexual advances or requests
- Soliciting sexual services or engagement
Violence & Harm
- Depicting or threatening violence
- Sharing graphic or disturbing content
- Promoting self-harm or encouraging others to harm themselves
- Displaying weapons in a threatening manner
Privacy Violations
- Recording, screenshotting, or streaming other users' video without consent
- Attempting to discover or share another user's personal information
- Using reverse image search or other tools to identify users
- Sharing screenshots or recordings of AnonCam conversations publicly
Commercial & Spam Activity
- Advertising products, services, or websites
- Promoting other chat platforms or competing services
- Sending repetitive messages or engaging in spam behavior
- Running scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes
- Requesting donations, payments, or financial assistance
Impersonation & Misrepresentation
- Pretending to be someone you're not, including impersonating AnonCam staff
- Using fake camera feeds or pre-recorded videos
- Misrepresenting your age, identity, or intentions
Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates local, national, or international law
- Drug use or distribution visible on camera
- Underage use of the platform (must be 18 and older+)
- Sharing copyrighted material without permission
Platform Manipulation
The following technical violations are also prohibited:
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the service
- Attempting to bypass bans or moderation systems
- Modifying or interfering with the platform's code or functionality
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities for personal gain
Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of these guidelines result in escalating consequences:
- First offense: Temporary ban (24-72 hours) for minor violations
- Repeat offenses: Longer temporary bans (1 week to 1 month)
- Severe violations: Permanent IP ban immediately
- Legal violations: Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities
All bans are IP-based and cannot be easily circumvented. Attempting to create new accounts or use VPNs to bypass bans may result in broader blocking measures.
Appeals & Questions
If you believe a ban was issued in error, you may contact us via our contact form with your IP address and explanation. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis but reserve the right to uphold bans at our discretion.
