Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using AnonCam. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AnonCam, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AnonCam.

2. Description of Service

AnonCam provides a free anonymous chat platform that connects random strangers via text and/or video using WebRTC technology. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability, quality, or suitability for any particular purpose.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use AnonCam. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18, you are prohibited from using the Service.

AnonCam is not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly allow minors to access the platform. If we become aware that a minor is using the Service, we will ban that access immediately.

4. No Accounts Required

AnonCam does not require user accounts. You may use the Service without creating a profile, providing an email, or selecting a username. Your use is anonymous and temporary. However, this anonymity does not exempt you from complying with these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AnonCam only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Harassment, threats, stalking, or abuse of other users
  • Displaying explicit nudity or sexual content (nudity policy may change, but generally prohibited)
  • Sharing illegal content (drug use, underage material, pirated media, etc.)
  • Advocating violence or hate speech based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability
  • Impersonating any person or entity, including AnonCam staff
  • Spamming, advertising, or promoting commercial activities without consent
  • Soliciting money, gifts, or financial transactions from other users
  • Attempting to gather personal information about other users (doxxing)
  • Using bots, automated scripts, or unauthorized third-party tools to access the Service
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or networks
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the platform
  • Recording or streaming other users without their consent (we cannot enforce this, but it may be illegal where you are)
  • Using the Service while under the influence of drugs or alcohol to the point of inappropriate behavior

6. Content Responsibility

All content shared through AnonCam (text messages, video, audio) is the sole responsibility of the user who creates it. We do not pre-screen, monitor, or edit user content. You are solely responsible for what you share and its consequences.

You retain all rights to your content, but you grant us a limited license to transmit it to the intended recipient. We do not claim ownership of your chat content.

7. Privacy & Anonymity Limitations

While AnonCam is designed to protect your identity, complete anonymity is not guaranteed:

  • The person you're chatting with can see your video/audio/text and may record it using external means.
  • Your IP address may be visible to us temporarily and to the other user via WebRTC ICE candidates (though often masked by NAT).
  • Your ISP or network admin can see that you're visiting anon-cam.site.
  • If you share personal information voluntarily, the other person will know it.
  • Legal authorities may compel us to disclose limited technical data if obtained.

By using AnonCam, you acknowledge these risks and release us from liability related to privacy breaches caused by other users or inherent technical limitations.

8. Intellectual Property

The AnonCam website, its design, code, logos, and trademarks are owned by AnonCam or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our code or design without permission.

You may use screenshots or excerpts for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., sharing with friends), but you may not brand them as your own or use them for marketing without consent.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or ban your access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of other users
  • Technical security concerns
  • Illegal activity
  • At our sole discretion

    • Since we have no accounts, bans are enforced via IP address, session fingerprinting, and other technical measures determined by you. Bans may be temporary or permanent at our discretion.

    10. Disclaimer of Warranties

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

    • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
    • The Service will meet your requirements
    • The quality or reliability of connections will meet expectations
    • Any particular feature will continue to be offered
    • Matches will be satisfactory or interesting

    You use the Service at your own risk.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANONCAM, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Personal injury or emotional distress caused by interactions with other users
    • Loss of privacy or data
    • Harassment, threats, or unwanted contact from other users
    • Technical issues, data loss, or service interruption
    • Any damages exceeding $100 USD

    Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed $100 USD.

    12. User-to-User Interactions

    AnonCam facilitates connections between users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not vet, screen, or monitor users. We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of any user.

    We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to investigate and take appropriate action against users who violate these Terms. This may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

    13. Content Reporting & Moderation

    We provide a reporting mechanism for users to flag inappropriate behavior. Reported users may be reviewed and banned if violations are confirmed. However, we do not guarantee removal of all problematic content or users due to the anonymous, real-time nature of the platform.

    We employ automated content filters to detect nudity and explicit material, but these systems are imperfect. Your use of the Service constitutes acknowledgment that you may encounter inappropriate content and that you will unsubscribe/skip/block such content at your discretion.

    14. Changes to Service & Terms

    We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

    15. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [INSERT JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of [INSERT JURISDICTION].

    We'll respond appropriately, typically by banning the offending user or blocking access if feasible.

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AnonCam and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

    18. No Expectation of Privacy

    While we design the Service to protect your identity from us and from other users in certain ways, you should have no expectation of privacy when using AnonCam. Anything you share with another user can be recorded, saved, and distributed by them. Do not share anything you would not want to become public.
